Jon McLaughlin returns to tug at all the hopeless romantic’s heart strings with his latest piano-pop ballad “Before You.” It’s been almost two years since Hoosier singer-songwriter Jon McLaughlin partnered with PledgeMusic and allowed fans to help select the tracks for his fourth album, Holding My Breath. And last November McLaughlin released his widely successful holiday EP that went on to top the iTunes holiday music charts. And just recently, McLaughlin announced, via his website, plans to release his fifth full length album and upcoming Like Us tour this fall.

McLaughlin’s latest track “Before You” is a stunning effort. The track’s production offers a simple slow-burn build that flows effortlessly into an up-lifting piano powered chorus. McLaughlin’s vocals glide over the production gracefully. It’s a sweet, vulnerable and heart-warming tune about undeniable love. The track is available for streaming on McLaughlin’s website and soundcloud.

The album’s release date hasn’t officially been announced yet, but the Like Us tour kicks off in October in Texas before ending in Indianapolis. McLaughlin will be performing at the Old National Centre December 5th and tickets are now on sale. It will be a show you won’t want to miss.
