Perfect patio weather is back, Indy! I don’t know about you, but as soon as the weather breaks, I am dying to get out on one of the many Indy patios. Here are some great Indy gems, in no particular order, that always keep me going back for more.
Something tells me not a lot of people know about the Tiki Bar in the back of Revolucion, but for me, it was love at first sight. Hidden in the back of the restaurant is a small door that leads you to a tropical, industrial oasis. The tiki bar vibe and patio instantly transports you into vacation mode, and you’ll find yourself flagging down the staff immediately for some margs and tacos.

Nestled away in Broad Ripple a few blocks north of the main strip is the scrumptious Fire by the Monon. Offering a comfy, casual vibe and delicious food, Fire has the perfect wrap-around deck for sitting outside, and having quiet meal outdoors with friends and family. The perfect ending to good meal at Fire is a quick stroll on the Monon, which is only a block away.

Arguably the best place to watch live music in Indy when the weather is perfect, the Rathskeller Biergarten is truly the Indy venue that assures everyone will enjoy his or her night. Whether it’s hanging out with friends at one of it’s many picnic tables, cutting a rug on the dance floor or just mingling in between with a drink in hand, the Biergarten will not disappoint those in search of a fun, musical experience. Head inside to enjoy the Rathskeller’s delicious, German-style bar menu.

BRICS, Broad Ripple Ice Cream Station, is always hopping on a hot, summer day. The outdoor deck sits right on the Monon, and is the prime spot for a little people watching! Serving up premium, hand-dipped ice cream, sundaes, coffee, hot chocolate and the occasional acoustic performer, BRICS is the perfect dessert spot, regardless of your age.

You know those nights when you are trying to get all your friends to go out for dinner, but you cannot seem to find the place that everyone can agree on? Well, Bru Burger is that magical place. With a menu of gourmet to gutsy burgers, Bru Burger’s large, outdoor patio is the perfect launching spot for a night out on Mass Ave. You might have to wait a little bit to get in, but fork over your cell number to the hostess, and wander Mass Ave until you’re beckoned.
